Year 12 student Ellie entered herself in to the passive stage of the World Skills Competition and has been informed that she is in the heats for floristry.
Talking about her achievement, Ellie said:
“I’m so proud of my self for achieving this. It’s the little boost I needed to remind me that I’m doing well in my floristry. I’m feeling unstoppable and won’t let anything get in my way of being an awesome florist – here’s to hoping I make it into the nationals!”
Ellie has designed and made a biodegradable heart tribute for a woodland burial, which fits the brief perfectly.
